I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Set up a valid repository address

Beacause I wanted to test the Mezzo DE, rather than download an entire iso, I added the repository and gpg key as instructed on your downloads page, but apt-get update does not find it.

      • Support for the iso-boot/filename kernel parameter

I was wondering - since SymphonyOS is based on Ubuntu and using casper - if you could add support for the iso-boot/filename kernel parameter that lets you boot directly from the ISO file.

See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2/ISOBoot/Examples#Ubuntu_12.04.2_.2864-bit.29 for Ubuntus wiki page about the feature and https://www.linuxliteos.com/bugs/index.php?do=details&task_id=42#comment138 for an example of how I use that feature.

But just like I wrote in the feature request for Linux Lite, I know this is not an important feature and you probably don't have the manpower. But maybe you're curious. :)

I think that this is a fantastic way to stay up-to-date with "smaller" distributions like…

        • Make install ISO

I was looking forward to reviewing 15.0 Beta. I created a USb stick from the ISO and was pleased with the initial menu. When trying to boot it just hung up on a black screen with messages "Failed to load RTL8168" also RTL2561. These are my nic and wifi cards. All distros give this message but then go on to boot and connect to my network ok. If there was an install option in the initial menu then I could bypass the live demo and install it direct to my HDD.
